For the year of 2003, URMPM generated the first
e-Conference concerning SARS involving worldwide participants. We learned the e-Conference is one kind of
fine devices to exchange our knowledge and skills around the world. Also it seems to contribute to develop
better risk management in the world, so that the URMPM members request us to
continue our e-Conference in order to develop
better understandings
and counter measures of coming unknown infectious risk in our plant. This Internet
conference consists
with several topics relating to management for infectious risk, and the
presentations will be distributed in the URMPM official journal, Journal of
Medical Safety (JMS), after the e-Conference, too. Sincerely,
Ryoji Sakai,
URMPM Chairperson
